Price list and deposit amounts for Blue Car Rental
1 – Price list for deposit Amounts
A deposit is required upon pickup and is based on the selected insurance tier. An additional 1,000 NOK travel deposit is applied to all bookings (to cover potential ferry, toll, and parking charges). The main deposit is held as a security to cover any damage that may occur to the vehicle during the rental period.
Cars
- Basic CAR : 20,000 NOK + 1,000 NOK travel deposit
- Plus CAR : 10,000 NOK + 1,000 NOK travel deposit
- Max CAR : 0 NOK + 1,000 NOK travel deposit
- Young Driver CAR : 20,000 NOK + 1,000 NOK travel deposit
Roof damage for cars :
- Max CAR : 100,000 NOK
- Plus CAR : 150,000 NOK
- Basic CAR : 200,000 NOK
- Young Driver CAR : 200,000 NOK
2 – Price list for additional fees (applied based on circumstances)
The following charges may apply during or after the rental period, depending on specific situations or services required. All fees are listed in NOK.

These fees are in addition to any fines, repair costs, or services required, and will be deducted from the driver’s deposit or charged separately when applicable.
3 – Price list for fees applicable following damages
These standard fees are intended to cover the most common types of damage that may occur during the rental period. The purpose of this predefined pricing is to provide transparency and efficiency in the damage settlement process.
If damage occurs that is not covered by a listed item, Blue Car Rental reserves the right to determine the cost of repair based on external references, including but not limited to parts pricing, mechanic quotations, insurance evaluations, or comparable repair cases.
Labour costs will be charged separately, based on the nature and extent of the required repair.

*If any scratch is deep enough to expose metal, it will be classified as a large scratch regardless of its length.
